Opponents of Elon Musk are enjoying a hearty laugh at his expense this Thursday morning.
At 8:34 am, SpaceX's 400-foot Starship and Super Heavy rocket exploded a few minutes after takeoff.
Two pieces of the spacecraft did not separate as intended, causing both the booster and the starship to explode in midair. The explosion could be seen in the skies over South Texas.

SpaceX's stainless steel Starship is the world's largest rocket, one that CEO Elon Musk believes may someday take humans to Mars and beyond.
Though the explosion will undoubtedly cause a laugh-riot among leftists and liberals who are still angry at Musk and his Twitter takeover, SpaceX staff remain positive and are hopeful for the future.
In a statement, the company said, "With a test like this, success comes from what we learn."
Test launches allow the company to review data and experiment with revisions to improve the prototype, which may someday lead to a vessel capable of safe, interplanetary civilian travel.
Politics aside, we commend any private company that puts the advancement of human civilization into its mission statement.
